  • I am writing in appreciation of the generous trophy for the 2024 Kiwanis Music Festival of London.  I am incredibly honoured and thankful to be the back-to-back recipient for this prestigious award.  After participation in last year’s Kiwanis Music Festival, I have experienced unexpected and immense development in my musical performance skills.  In my life, music serves as a stress-relief and a creative outlet.  I will be participating in the Canada-wide Science Fair later this year.  If not for my trophy award last year, I would not be where I am now.  This year’s trophy will serve as a reminder to continue my hard work and to fuel my passion as I move on to University, where I will pursue a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Music Performance.  Your support not only will enable my future goals as a woman in STEM, but will provide me with a persistent reminder of my passion for music.  Thank you again for your support of musicians like me.

  • I wanted to take the time to thank you for creating the (name of award) scholarship in piano.  I was lucky enough to receive this prize this year after my successful participation in the London Kiwanis Festival.  I was able to use this to further enhance my love of music.  I am proud to say that I was asked to represent London at the Provincial Level in June for Grade 8 piano.  It was an amazing experience that I will never forget.  Thanks again for your support of music students like me.  I really appreciate it.
